Jesus Prayed for YOU!

John 17:20-21 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; (21) That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

Just hours before Jesus was arrested, that lead to his execution, he met with his closest followers to give them final instructions.  Once finished with his message, he began to pray for them…AND US!!  Our two verses today, reflect part of that prayer.  Even though Jesus knew what he faced with an excruciating death in less than 24 hours, Jesus prayed not for himself but for us.  His prayer, that we might have a relationship with him and the father in a similar fashion that He has with the Father.

Come to the 12 Hours of Jesus, on May 10th, in Radcliff Kentucky and learn how to develop a relationship with our Savior!

Who is Jesus to You?

Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

When some one mentions the name of Jesus, what do you think?  In my experience, many people have a very limited view of Jesus.  Many see him as very one dimensional.  I hear things like, "Jesus was all about Love".  To say that diminishishes his other equally important attributes.  In our text, Peter preached that Jesus was both Lord and Christ.  People love the aspect of Jesus that he is the Christ. but many really do not want him to be their LORD.  The word "Lord" means master or controller of our lives.  We must embrace All of the aspects of Jesus.

To learn more about Who Jesus is, What he taught and what he expects from us, Come to the 12 Hours of Jesus on May 10th in Radcliff Kentucky.

To What Are You Loyal

Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

To whom are YOU loyal?  Jesus says that we cannot fool ourselves into thinking that we can be equally loyal to Jesus and pleasing ourselves.  You must choose.  And that choice must be expressed through our actions not just our words.  Come to the 12 Hours of Jesus on May 10th in Radcliff KY to learn how we demonstrate our loyalty to Jesus!

The Ideal Repenter!

Luke 15:17-19 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! (18) I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, (19) And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

In the parable of the Prodigal Son, Jesus demonstrates the attitude of the ideal repenter.  Jesus portrays him as one that understands that he has rebelled against his father and because of his sin, he is now unworthy to be a son.  That is the proper attitude in coming to God.  The good news is that God does not accept us as a servant but as a child!  Come to the 12 Hours of Jesus and learn more about God's love and compassion!  May 10th.  Radcliff, KY.

I Will Make You to Be!

Matthew 4:18-20 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. (19) And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. (20) And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.

Jesus did not go to the best schools, he did not recruit the most educated or most eloquent...He recruited ordinary people. Once that happened he TRANSFORMED the lives of folks that allowed him to have control!

Do you need a significant change in your life? Jesus can help you if you are willing to follow HIS direction. Come to the 12 Hours of Jesus to learn more. May 10th in Radcliff KY.
